You and I shift and work throttle very differently. I shift Way faster than this and just before redline. Pretty sure I can beat 8sec with my stock 300R tbh. No hate just didn't know I did anything that different from anyone else.

I’m new to riding in 23 years old. I got a new 2023 cb300r and it had done that to me a couple times as well like turning off. I haven’t looked into it but just from experience I think it’s when ur in a higher gear and just hold the clutch in and drop speed fast I think it cuts off as a safety thing maybe ?

It’s basically a street tire that can handle gravel roads…. Considering the awful conditions many of the roads are in the US I’m sure you’d even be better off with these than a 100% street tire

What size tire did you use for the back?

There's a dip in power around 5000 to 6000 rpm after you put a full system after the 6000 rpm it goes back to normal. I installed an Akra no DB and I'm feeling it. Today I just installed the K&N air filter to give it "more" air intake to see if it gets better. I couldn't ride it tomorrow I will do the test... If it doesn't work I will put the DB killer back and test and lastly if that doesn't work I will have to flash the ECU. Not for HP but to erase the power dip. It's common on this bike though.

If you want a few more tenths... just strip the bike of unnecessary weight, Inc get a gel battery etc etc. On these small capacity bikes after de-restricting them with the obvious exhaust, air filter, iridium spark plug mods.. you need to just get them skinny n lighter. But as always just enjoy being a biker as speed n performance in general don't matter too much! when you have the freedom of just owning a bike and the smiles that brings.

You tightening it with that wrench after wards is you setting up yourself another trap again for the filter to not come off. That nut at the bottom of the filter is made so you can take it off easier, oil filters only need hand tight. thats it

I have the full Yoshi exhaust (pipe and can) on my 2019 CB300R, and while I like it, it's loud, and can be annoying on longer rides. IMO. I got it for the 8 pound weight savings over the stock exhaust, but for me, I wish it was quieter.

Isn't this for motorcross use only?, I would imagine it would just tear to pieces sliding down the road.
